  1. I have to tell you that you're really missing a ton of parts. I don't know, but I might tell Amazon I'm sending it back. I might be so irritated that I would spend the time disassembling it all. That would be a huge job, but missing all the parts is just not right. Oh, I'm only just now planning for the storage shed, but my very first idea was to be sure and put down a concrete pad. I will absolutely do that.

  2. I just bought this same shed today. I got mine for $1000. I’m going to make a wood support frame on the inside corners & down the inside walls. & I’m going to anchor it to the base I build.

  3. So , I just installed the tremont 8×10 resin shed . I have to agree with the evaluation in this video . The doors are cheap and have no stops . Any slight gust of wind has the doors slamming into the sidewalls . All the corners are made of thin resin , probably 1/8 " thin ; I can see the corners failing in the future . The installation was a nightmare as I had the shed delivered from lowes and they only delivered one box . One week later they delivered the second box and parts were damaged and also missing . After watching this video , I see braces on the back gable that I never got . There were two small corner shelves that are virtually useless , they remind me of the shelves in my bathtub . In order to have meaningful shelves , I would have to structure a wall inside the shed made from wood . Kinda defeats the purpose of investing in the resin shed to begin with . The vents are a joke , and I was laughing at the level of cheap crap provided for a vent . It was a cut piece of screen and it was so thin guaged screen that it ripped by just screwing it in . A bee could fly right through such a cheap screen . They don't supply the screws and washers needed to fasten the floor down to the foundation . The walls have pre molded holes which im guessing its for additional shelving and each hole has a very thin layer of walll left that is almost see thru . The foundation needed for perfect leveling costs a fortune to begin with . I caught the tremont on sale for 1,145 .00 and still feel that it's overpriced for the quality that it isn't , and another grand for the foundation lumber and drainage rock , landscape cloth , 6" lag screws , rebar , deck screws for the plywood base floor , 3" lag screws and black coated washers for the tremont floor that is not supplied by the manufacturer . I'm used to building structures sturdy , one that will last a lifetime . I Don't like the fact that the walls flex so easy . I would have thought the walls would be braced better

  4. I just bought and installed. I would suggest that the problem you mention did not occur with mine as instructions clearly state to use either a concrete or wood based platform. Gravel is too lumpy and negatively affects the overall build. Mine also was not missing any parts but did have a floor cut which was annoying since the unit was purchased brand new. Overall impression: Great shed and well made.

  5. Your base is a pea gravel and you are putting a plastic on top! The choices itself is a wrong choice! I just put up my second one and it’s a great shed! Please do not say its an honest review if you do not have a good base!

  6. I built the same shed and had the same problems , Next one i built was the metal panels , same size and a third of the price,, My metal shed is much better and stronger..

  7. The base (pea gravel) is the issue. You need to use 3/4 inch clean crushed rock. Crushed rock will pack, pea gravel will not (has smooth edges). You also need a frame around the gravel and tamp it down good.

  8. The skylights will eventually crack and fall apart. Also shed need to be sealed everywhere! 60-100 mph wind and your shed may be torn apart. Doors never line up or close after a year. I have 3. My wife rushed and bought them.I built 2 additions on my house and I can build a shed, but nooo my wife orders these stupid plastic crap!

  9. I noticed about Amazon you get merchandise returned from others repackaged, sold as new with parts missing they either damaged and didn't want responsibility for it. Or returned it and forgot all the things. Sorry it happened to you. Sometimes it pays not to shop online to have peace of mind

  10. on mine, the corners on the door end are starting to split from the bottom to the roof line. Most SunCast sheds seem to be having the same problem,, only on the door end of the shed. Most prople recommend using the wide gorilla clear tape to put it back together. Also, my doors suck too and have never lined up. Also ended building a 2×3 frame inside to strengthen the shed walls, and to have something to mount my shelves to since the walls won't support crap.

  11. I think it looks great, always frustrating when the manufacturer misses pieces. The instructions should include a parts list and the phone number if parts are missing.

You stated: “What I had done was I laid out a pad and I used pea gravel because they said that it's good for pea gravel. And I brought this down a little bit of an angle…” I think this could be why there are alignment issues.
