  1. Yes you write lots gone up . However we stay nature view hotel soi Buakhao only gone up 100 baht in 5 years. The change I don't like is the arrival of more not violent but intimidating thugs . Not nice

  2. Fishermans village … looking at that, i get flashbacks to the architecture from the 1800's of Denmark, it's almost the spitting image of it.
Pretty sure that is what they where going for when they made this Fishermans Village.

  3. Bars are sort of a dying breed now amongst the younger crowd. Many drinking far less than the old generations so definitely Pattaya will change. They will have to attract a younger crowd eventually instead of relying on very old ones

  4. Beach road needs a foot bridge over it at both ends, so tourists don't play dodgeball with traffic.
The good – so many places to eat authentic Thai food.
The bad – so many pot shops.

  5. I first went to Pattaya about twenty years ago. It was definitely more laid back and while it could be crowded, the tourist demographics were different then and things were just better. Sorry, just saying.
I didn't go there during the pandemic of course and did make it there last summer. All I can say is it changed for the worse, especially walking street.

  6. Lucas great video as usual, i hope you dont mind but can i ask your advice, im planning to do 8 weeks no alcohol with my daughter and was thinking ill do it for charity, an orphanage in Indonesia where i go to play golf, you mentioned a QR code i simply want donations for the charity, can you explain the QR code and how it works please, Regards gerry

  7. I went to Central today to get a pair of shoes and decides to try Santa Monica Diner. The burger was really good, will go back. But the cokes are very small 2 = 1 and the service was weak. Since I have been away from Pattaya for 3 years and now I'm I have been back living here again since July. It's sad to see the level of rudeness from Thais has gotten bad at times. The Thais I have known for 6-7 years all say the same thing, that they miss the farangs from the old days that were more polite and kind. There seems to be a farang fatigue here now.
