Thank you for the mention in the description Briannah!
I Just got a brand new one from Facebook market for $25
I just got my Bootysprout yesterday and tried it out for the first time. Decided to look at more reviews and came across your video! Foa, you guys are adorable with your sarcastic banter 😂 And I do agree with you about thinking it was gonna be smaller. It definitely seemed heavier than 26 lbs! I legit put that sucker on my scale and weighed it 😂…25 lbs is what my scale said. I think it feels heavier because it's a bit awkward while setting up, maybe??? Regardless, it only took like 30 seconds to set up once i got it out of the box. First impression…I like not having to use the edge of my couch while trying to balance dumbbells on my hips anymore, but i realized that I really missed the feeling of having consistent dead weight all the way through the entirety of the movement like i did with my dumbells. Also, I'm only 5'4", so I'm literally on the inner edge of the platform to get my shins parallel and at a 90° angle. I wish the platform was adjustable so it could be more compact…most of it just takes up space tbh. First day, I only made it about 7 mins including a couple short rest periods. Today, I ended up using two resistance bands and also criss crossing two 10 lb dumbbells over them for some extra stability. I definitely felt the burn in my bum!! 🍑 Adding on the dumbbells had my legs wobbly at the end for sure. It's good, but I'm not convinced it's $169 good yet. We shall see!
I work at ups lol the box was retaped because it came apart during transit. The original company failed at sealing it. Also those big boxes come down with thousands of other packages and over flow off the belt all the time. We won't risk our backs for a package😅 so yes it was probably dropped and thrown into the wall of boxes built into the truck.
When your husband said enjoy the show ladies i cackled 😂 my hubby says things like that all the time!
You could add grip tape to the wood part to prevent sliding, maybe? I’d love to se a results video. You could add a barbell with weights for extra resistance 😉
Can I add a dumbbell at the top?
Please list the dimensions. Lying flat and heights . Wondering if I can store under couch . Thank so much
I love your dogs. 🐾
Let’s remember it’s not portable, it’s “protable”
I have seen people use weights with that machine
put skateboard grip tape on the wood part so you can grip it properly
“I’m an elite level person at the top of my not-pyramid” please…..
The 'don't google butt training' part had me dying 😅
i would also immediately try to curl the band
LOL I just came here bc I got the bootysprout on CL for $75. I've been loving it. Also about NSFW happenings, I googled butt injections (I mean we're all here bc were trying to work on bootys right?) and I saw things I never ever wanted to see.
Wondering if this helps with proper form? It looks like the back pad is at the perfect height, vs a weight bench. So I'm wondering if a person could maybe switch to a bar if they max out the bands, and still use this…🤔
Love it when your husband and dogs are part of your video. Was an interesting review.
Hip thrusts are like the 7th best glute activation/builder.
Your best bet to build glutes are step ups and step up varieties and hex bar deadlifts.
With the traditional dumbbell step ups having an Average (%MVIC) of 169.22 101.47 and traditional hip thrusts having a 82.37 18.65 (Lower GM: 69.5/Upper GM: 86.7).
This is a good product for people who mainly don’t have access to gyms or the ability to have or move around barbells and plates.
I feel like the position it puts you in is also good for using weights with it for hip thrusts once you go past the band level. I don’t see why you couldn’t do it with a barbell as well.
Your husband in the background 😂😂😂 Mine would have done the same thing. 😂😂
