  1. I started the NACA process 2 months ago. So far everything is going good! My counselor is the key – walking me through each step. I am about to have my information submitted to underwriting I look forward to completing the process and becoming a homeowner through NACA!

  2. My first NACA workshop where I received my NACA ID was 2/24/2024

My closing date for my home is 5/10/2024

I will be doing a Video once I finish moving. But for now, y’all go through NACA ! I have had an amazing experience but even if you facing hardships… it’s worth it. Same house I’m
Buying would’ve costed me way more monthly and I would’ve had to put down a down payment

  3. Thank you so much for your NACA review. I'm hoping that contractors are available in the Las Vegas area this year and things have changed a bit. I've been writing things down and I have until April of 2025 before my lease would be up. So if I get started now I have 14 1/2 months.

  4. yes it's a daunting process , I singed up in 08/2020 , paid the $25.00 membership fee , submitted all my financials , income tax returns, and at 67-yrs. old with limited pc skills jumped through it, call several times a week ,some times I got nasty condescending people and sometimes a nice professional compassionate person . I quit after 4 months when they told I had to re-up my membership in Jan. 2021 because they re-certify you every 1-st. of the new year . I lost it and quit. they paint a pretty picture but don't mention the small details about membership. in my eyes there're taking advantage of your desperate frame of mind and housing situation like the one were're in now with housing .

  5. I have read everything I could possibly read about Naca.
When you compare interest rates – down-payments etc NACA SOUNDS BETTER.
BEWARE- Each contract can vary in a significant way. Each contract spells out conditions that must be in place if your home needs renovations. I have seen several people who ended up over their head because of estimates for home repairs that would have been rolled into Naca. In the end- it comes out of pocket.
Naca can take a very- VERY LONG TIME before everything is in place for you to move forward.
I have read from 4 months to 3 years before you close.
MAKE SURE YOU FIND A HIGHLY QUALIFIED INSPECTOR TO INSPECT YOUR PROPERTY BEFORE YOU BUY!
Compare inspection companies and see what the differences are with the highlights of your inspection.
Trust me- it could save you thousands and thousands of dollars later.
