This car doesn't have an Idle Air Contrrol valve
2004 TL with 77000 miles or 103000 miles 2007 TL. The 2004 is 7k and the 2007 is 6k. 2004 has one owner, no accidents
Always liked this car growing up even stock it’s nice, just bought my tl and I think some led lights and lowered 2” it’ll be cool, lucked out I got a 04
manual for 2k
Watching this on my lunch break (in my 2006 tl base looking around the car 😂)
didn’t they fix the automatic transmission in the 07-08 models?
My favorite game for cars which is only racing it probably nfs but I have a love for gta5 because the physics atleast most the time are realistic to how a car would react specifically love the way rwd cars act in that game
Is the automatic transmission really bad or is it ok, I have been trying to find a manual for about a month and have just given up
They only made so many manuals fir this model so good luck finding one
Transmisión 😭😫😫
If money wasn’t an issue. This TL is golden. Like gold plated!
My Tl S wdp overheated and wont crank. Acura said a need a new engine without looking at the car. Bout to get her back on the Road
$3000 i wish, maybe for a high mile extremely busted auto one
Sunroofs in all 3rd gens
Remember to do maintenance on that auto transmission. Mine had to be rebuilt around 260k miles. Im assuming it hadn't been rebuilt before then which is pretty good as far as most cars are concerned. (I bought the car with over 200k on it and it now has 300k). Out of all my cars this has required the least number of repairs😁
07 TL Type S auto owner here, in the later model years (07, 08) they replaced the automatic transmission with the beefier one from the RL I believe? Anyways I got about 260k on mine and it runs great just keep up with maintenance
i have an 04 tl can u make power out of this engine? and if so how? i’m so lost with it
Not cheap to maintain at all. The dashboards crack, yeah and you say be careful about that. Really, how can you be careful about that? It just happens…you know, bumps in the roads, freeways etc…can't prevent it dude. SMH
Motor mounts. Balljoints. Compliance bushings. Gps not working. Seats falling apart. Door inserts coming unglued. Exterior door handle caps falling off. Door switches. HFL. And the automatic transmissions are absolute garbage. Unless you got the lucky one that is recalled. But as far as the majority, garbage. I’ve had 5 TLs. They have all suffered a variety of these problems. If not all of them.
About to get a 04 6 spd manual, 75k miles so excited
i love my 06 TL its an auto so its slow but i brought it too a track day and i was a tenth off a camaro 2ss. the car does handle great tho its my favorite part of the car it just takes corners perfectly
The 3rd Gen TL Type-S is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen in my life!
Good bad and ugly on the 4th gen tL?
2:10 why not just make the fckn type s faster instead of making the base model slower…
Is it a good first car?
Thanks for the research😊
Hello sorry for asking what size of the wheels you have front and back, thank you it looks very nice
Pretty sure the CL last year was 2003. Many years ago I had a 2003 CL Type-S 6 speed manual. Sold it around 75k miles. Was a true drivers fwd car. Wasn't so good as a daily with kids. But should've kept it. I don't say that and don't buy fwd cars today
I just got my Acura Tl 2005 and its amazing
i can trust this man alone with the skyrim music😭
My mistake, I have a second generation tl, seems like a lifetime of disappointment in this car.
Not third gen
UA6 represents the 04 – 08 base models, UA7 represents the 07 – 08 type S models.
Where do you find one for less than 3k?? Never seen one for less than 7k unless it needed a new trans, then it was 3k
I'm considering getting a TSX or Tl. Do Volkswagen jetta next pls
It's getting harder and harder to find a stock TL to buy. The ones I've seen for under $4000 have been used and abused.
I’m deciding which is the best as far as reliability out of a is350, TL and the g35/37
Bro this is the Skyrim theme song
Need to correct you on the horsepower between base and type s. HP wasn't lowered on later base models, it was just rated differently and is no longer rated and advertised as 270s, but around 250s. All base has the same j32 engine.
im save up for the tl type s auto cause not much here for manuel im driving the 2018 tlx spec a 2.4 is which is nice. My dad have 2008 tl manuel back then i loved and like the sound of the tl its timless look and sounds so good. It so hard to find manuel for this car 😢.
Really? Not much street? I could’ve sworn there was alot of supercharged tl and tls out there
hey mark lmao you already made this same exact video a year ago
Listen people you guys want the manual over the automatic in this car the manual came with more performance upgrades over the shitty automatic
You forgot about how good the j series sounds with an exhaust one of the best sounding v6s out there
