In my previous life, I was an International Training Manager for a 5* hotel & spa brand, I used to travel the world, living out of 5* hotels such as Ritz Carlton, One & Only, Luxury Collection etc, I would write reports on the standards I found at these hotels and train the teams to ensure true 5* standards at all times.

Sounds like you wanted a 5-star experience for a 4-star Hotel which is unfair. In my opinion Seabreeze House is exceptional. If you want 5-star treatment go to Sandy Lane Resort where your cold drinks will be ready as you arrive!

Great review, thank you. I'm taking my 10 year old daughter to Sea Breeze in July, total suprise for her as she thinks she's going to London for a week, she has no idea that when we arrive in London Heathrow from Newcastle that she's boarding a much bigger plane and flying to Barbados!
To answer your question regarding costs, you bagged a very good deal, I booked through BA Holidays and put us both in Business Class, at a cash price no reward seats but I checked for a bigger family holiday next year around the same time and it was silly money, business class flight plus hotel for 6 people so I think you've done really well getting that holiday for less than £6K.
I guess if you removed the premium flight costs, I still think the holiday is overall extremley good value for money for such a beutiful location, I visit the Bahamas just up the road each year and Barbados came in much cheaper and, the Bahamas do not offer any all inclusive resorts for kids – You're limited to the Atlantis as most other hotels are adult only.
I'm really looking forward to visiting the Sea Breeze, more so for the suprise for my little girl!
we stayed here a few years ago and it was great. looking at the website it is expensive compared to using trivago etc.

We are super delighted that you enjoyed your stay and we got a very high rating 🎉 overall , however we are disappointed that there were elements of your stay that were not perfect. We do strive to ensure that every family’s stay is nothing short of amazing. Rest assured we will be discussing all comments with the team. However, we’ve taken steps already to address some things you mentioned and have already received additional order of bath and beach towels to improve the delivery of these to our guests and will be purchasing some bed guards which can be on request. Additionally, just to manage expectations for your viewers it seems that you received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room, our standard rooms are located in different areas of the property and have island views. The pools are cleaned daily but during periods of high occupancy it seems we will need to increase the frequency. Thanks again for the review and the feedback. We do encourage all guests to let us know whilst they are in resort so that we can constantly improve and ensure fabulous vacations for all!!

Most ppl rent a house close to the beach it’s better not u see the real culture
Hi there. We’ve been to Sea Breeze five times since 2011 each time we’ve been the price has gone up quite substantially. You wanted some feedback as to whether you got a good deal and I would say that you probably did or that the classic rooms are massively cheaper than the upgraded rooms in the mahogany block which is the new block. We paid £7500 for two of us for 7 nights at the same time exactly that you were there (the first week of your stay). This included the Virgin flight too though. Two years ago for two of the same rooms for 10 nights we paid £10000 (4 adults) . Definitely classic rooms or garden rooms are much better value.
I think we’d agree with pretty much everything you said, although we could have done without the “entertainment DJ “ operating out of the marquee by mahogany on the one night we decided to have a special meal at cerulean. The DJ was better suited to the beach party on the beach. Obviously our experience at the adult pool was a little different from yours, too but we were very happy.
My favourite bit is the staff. Wonderful. And many of them have been there for as long as we’ve been going there and feel like old friends.
