  1. We have had our travel trailer since 2019. We have changed mattresses on our murphy bed 3 times. Our next travel trailer will have a regular bed and at least one slide if we still have a big dog.

  2. Great review and great opinions. We are just watching videos and seeing the good, the bad and the ugly that everyone else deals with before we jump in. Not big fan of slides, yes they open up and give lots of interior room but a TT is to get outside going places and enjoy Americas beautiful scenery. Thanks again.

  3. I enjoyed this review. Great comment on the wheels and tires. You reenforced my thoughts on the stairs. I'll be interested in knowing your fix. Thanks for taking the time to make meaningful comments.

  4. Arctic Fox does make good campers , but I'm with you on the steps. I believe several companies are using those, and I don't like the idea of them folding inside.

  5. We have a 2018 22g and it’s like your talking about a different company. We have had trouble with everything. No help from the dealer or company. Problems with wiring, plumbing, cabinets and delaminating roof.

  6. Hi! I had a 24AS and THOUGHT the same- turns out the tiny caps in the center of the hub ON the chrome piece pop off! I ACTUALLY removed all the wheels twice to grease- then found you can flip the little center piece off!

These are remarkably well thought out and designed for heat-cold- dry camping rigs, not sure about the fifth wheel, but the 24AS and 27FS are BEASTS and are also toy haulers. Downside? Shower too small.

You are quite right about the steps, they do flip dirt in.

The layout of the Toy Haulers is genius- you can heat the holding and water tanks using only PROPANE- if inside heated to 72, crack bath vent, the tanks will not freeze (except in very high winds) at 0 degrees F.

  7. You are correct, a sofa or a couple recliners, they’re missing.
We sold our RV over the winter. It had no storage for clothes. I always had to fold them into the cabinets. Yuck.

  8. Hey Dave, really like your videos! I seen you may have sold that RV in this video, but something to think about and maybe you have already. They make amber type you could possibly put on those bright lights for future rvs that my have them. Just an idea. Happy camping!!

  9. All they had to do is powder coat them , it’s just some manufactures cheap out on they could have at least make it a option and the dealer could of offered it. You can go to Harbor Freight and they have a cheap powder coat gun but the problem is you need a oven big enough to fit the steps in and heat up to 315 degrees. And not big on Artic Fox anyway .

  10. Interesting! I had been looking at Lance and was at an RV show a couple weeks ago and fell in love with the 25R. Was looking to downsize from my 32' Jayco 5th wheel with double slides and an island that made the kitchen inaccessible during travel. Mine is a 2024 25R. Noticed a few differences, like I have the 12v DC compressor refrigerator and my windows are awning type which I prefer because the 5th wheel had sliding windows and couldn't have them open in the rain. The build quality on my new unit is phenomenal. Like you said, very few dealers carry the Arctic Fox. My dealer hear in NC, one in PA and one in Missouri. Love being able to access everything with the slide in and it is so bright and well built. Getting ready to take it out for a shakedown trip in another week!

  11. I was just curious how do you adjust your water in that shower do you use your feet ??? How do you like that please let me know thank you for a great video.

  12. The stairs are a deal breaker for us so we decided not to buy this trailer although we liked pretty much lease about it. Does anyone know how the steps could be removed and replaced with fully external steps?
