The 2017 Nissan Murano is Nissan’s middle of the road crossover/SUV, and it has been deemed as the most stylish one in the lineup. Nissan gave us the keys to a Murano Platinum AWD for a week and we put down our thoughts on the good, the bad, and the ugly of this 4,000 pound midsize crossover/SUV.

  1. I bought my 19 Murano brand new in Jan 2020 and IMO it's one of the best looking SUVs on the market! Now April of 24 and over 68K miles later i still think the same! Absolutely zero issues. Just baby the CVT and change the tranny fluid every 35-40K and you'll be putting the odds in your favor. I call it my budget RX 350.

  2. Nice ride but…when making a quick short radius turn, it stalls. Very concerning when there is oncoming traffic. Dealer says it is because of the way the CVT shifts. however the other 2 Murano's we have owned did not do that.

  3. Bought a 2018 MURANO SL Back in Feb and I LOVE IT,Pearl White,Black Leather interior,BOSE AUDIO,Heated Seats front and back,Tilt Telescoping Steering Wheel,3.5 V-6,Manual Shift Mode and Rides Great!!!!!!

  4. I have a 2017, this car is a POS. So many stupid designs. A plastic oil pan cover that has to be removed to do an oil change. With clips that wear out after 50k miles. It’s not possible to turn on the accessories by themselves. Nope, have to power up everything including ignition, then power off, to power up accessories. Causing the computer to have to boot up twice. Running lights that cannot be turned off. POS do not buy.

  5. I like the Murano but it has shitty view the corners of the windshield is a bad design i almost ran over somebody cause there were behind that part of the car and I have to take out all the head rest of the car to have more visibility especially in the back because you can’t see crap but all in all it’s good but the visibility is crap.

Ps when your changing the oil especially the friggin oil filter it’s in the worst place ever you have to take out the skid plate underneath and you have to take out a a part of the fender liner on the right side of the car in the front AND turn the car all the way to the right and good luck trying to replace those drive belts 🙂

  6. Thanks for sharing I was looking to get one. The camera angles are great in your video. Color is the same I was looking at. Thus helps I know what u mean on the station wagon kind of look. It us preferences. Try for the video, it helps

  7. I agree with the steering wheel..I can't find the volume without looking at it so I use the main volume button.. The rest of what you showed I love.. I've only had me 2017 Murano a month now.. But love it.

  8. You're right about thing One thing that it is a preference I actually like the style of the Murano it's different to everybody else and of course over it doesn't look like one and that's the idea another thing is the light color I like it because I like cleanliness and I clean my car almost every week I'm always cleaning it so I'll be on top of that also the steering wheel I don't mind to me because I always put another steering wheel cover to it so I can feel a little more cushioned and that would stop that cuddy looking color whatever you thought it look like cuz you can wrap it up I love the dashboard because it's Gordy nice try again and it looks more expensive yes the Nissan Murano I like it

  9. I disagree I own a 2016 I brought it for the styling an the power mind does have the light interior an I’ve solved that problem I have a blinged out cover on my wheel that set if off nicely. Hugs the road an easy driving. LOVE MY MURANO 😍

  10. I have one complaint about the shape of the rear window at it's top. There is a gap that is hard to reach for washing. Otherwise, great ride. Nice inside and out. Feels comfortable and safe. VERY nice seat!. Easy on the eye black interior. LOVE the cameras!! My first moon roof…Fun car!

  11. Dont Buy Nissan, I owned a Nissan Murano years ago, its the worse decision I made

to buy this scrap. Not only the quality its poor, but the service. I live in Mexico

and the Nissan shops are very corrupt, they steal the people by not doing the

service they should. Tons of people report they don’t get the oil changes and

replacement parts they charge. Problems are never solved properly and there are

tons of complaints. I am glad they are sawing what they deserve.
I made may complaints and never receive attention, Now I am with Honda, Ford and GM. Better quality at least for the same or better price cars.

  12. Disagree…. I love the exterior style looks sporty and agressive. I agree on the steering wheel looks outdated and also the radio with those buttons on the sides but overall I like it and planning on buying one. Thanks for the review.

  13. You are wrong about the styling , I get so many looks and compliments about my car. I wouldn't choose the light interior either. I would like you review an SUV that you find impeccable, just to see your comparison.

  14. i LOVE my 2017 murano! i think the style is amazing. it actually has shape and not a box on wheels. as for the light color steering wheel….don’t drive it with dirty hands 😊 enjoyed the video! thanks
